English Assembly

The English Assembly of C A C Faith Palace started in 2015. It was birthed from the urge of our youth who wanted an English service and also from the need to adequately attend to our non-Yoruba speaking members, and majorly by the leading of the Holy Spirit. 

This has led to us having members from other tribes apart from the Yoruba tribe, worshiping with us at the English session. 

The assembly of the church has been growing wonderfully to the glory of God.

TOPIC: DOING EXPLOITS IN MARRIAGE

 I. PRE-REQUISITES TO MAKING EXPLOITS

A. Before the Marriage Ceremony

1.  Knowledge

a. Knowledge of God

b. Knowledge of yourself- your purpose, temperament, blood group, genotype etc.

c.Knowledge of the marriage institution 1Tim. 4:13.

d.Knowledge of the person you want to marry- his/her purpose (can you complement it?), blood group, temperament, genotype etc.

2.  Preparation

a. Work to make yourself a person of value before marriage.

b. Travail to complement the vision of the partner you want- if you want a child of God, you must be one; if you desire a graduate, strive to become one too.

c.  Strive to know the will and purpose of God for you in marriage.

d. Take courtship seriously.

e.  Have a godly mentor

f.  Pray

B. After the marriage ceremony

a. Commitment to making your marriage work. This entails lots of sacrifices (rights, relationships, time, treasures etc).

b. Trust

c.  Communication Ephesians 4:15, 29.

d.  Unconditional love Ephesians 5:25, 28-29; Romans 12:10.

e.   Forgiveness

f.   Prayer

II. THE EXPLOITS IN MARRIAGE

a.  Purpose fulfilment-

1.  In the life of your spouse Eccl. 4:9-12 (Adam & Eve).

2.  In your life 1Tim. 4:16

3.  In your home- kids, in-laws.

b.  Maintaining a Christian family 1Tim. 3:1-4. 11-13, 4:12.

c.  Service to God and humanity 2Cor. 9:8 & 13.

d. The greatest exploit is to make heaven Titus 2:13.

CONCLUSION

The marriage institution was created by God to bring fulfilment of the covenant of fruitfulness and multiplication. Experiencing this lies in your hands. Take responsibility to make your marriage heaven on earth.
